Maria Ortiz, M.S, LMHC, CEDS

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Certified Eating Disorders Specialist

Maria is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Keiser University. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, having undergone additional training, education, supervision, experience, and examination requirements to earn this designation. She primarily works with individuals with eating disorders and body image concerns, but also has experience working with presenting problems including addictions, OCD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and sport-related concerns. Maria uses an integrative approach to therapy, and derives her work from a Health At Every Size perspective.

Maria’s authentic and genuine approach to counseling helps her clients to feel as though they can be their truest selves as well. She is caring, invested, and passionate about her work, which provides a unique space of safety and encouragement.

Maria is a published author, and continues to write and publish in her book series, Finding Freedom. She is also published in the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy Bulletin, and is a leading voice in the eating disorders community. She can often be found providing lectures, educational trainings, and keynote speaking engagements to neighboring community members, as well as across the country. Maria also has experience working in rehabilitation for a dual diagnosis inpatient/residential facility, giving her experience in a variety of therapeutic settings.

Jenesis Vasquez, M.S, LMHC

Jenesis Vasquez, M.S, LMHC

Jenesis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She is currently working towards earning her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential, acquiring her specialized knowledge to help individuals heal their relationship with food, body, and health.

Jenesis has a wonderful ability to connect with clients, in a manner that makes them feel safe and valued. Jenesis’ bubbly personality and driven nature allows her to be a therapist that so many can connect with. Jenesis uses an integrative approach to therapy, focusing her work to meet the unique needs of each client. Her interests include eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, child/adolescent concerns, cultural challenges, personality disorders, and couples counseling.

As a bilingual therapist, Jenesis provides therapy in both English and Spanish, expanding accessibility of care for diverse populations. Beyond her clinical practice, Jenesis co-authors the blog for BreakFree Therapy Services, and is driven in her work to ensure adequate and personalized care for individuals struggling with an array of mental health concerns. She also has experience working as a case manager which furthered her experience and expertise with working with children and families.

Anna-Liisa Bramwell, MS, RD, LDN

Anna-Liisa Bramwell is a Registered Dietitian, and received a Master of Science in Nutrition from Saint Elizabeth University. Her career has been shaped by a deep commitment to serving complex and underserved populations. Her experience as a dietitian has spanned a wide range of populations, including individuals with developmental disorders, eating disorders and disordered eating, substance use disorder, and chronic disease.

Anna-Liisa's warm, individualized approach to nutrition care allows her clients to feel genuinely seen and supported. She uses an evidence-based method, tailoring her interventions to reflect each person's unique needs and lived experiences. Her dual foundation in culinary nutrition and clinical dietetics gives her a distinctive, whole-person approach through which she views food, nourishment, and recovery.

Anna-Liisa was featured in a 2023 interview recognizing her role in amplifying nutrition's place within addiction treatment. Her cross-disciplinary experience makes her a skilled and compassionate clinician across a wide range of populations and care environments. She provides virtual nutrition services, allowing clients to access individualized support and specialized care remotely.

Elizabeth Termilus, CMHCI

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Elizabeth Termilus is a Student Intern pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University, with an anticipated graduation in 2027. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate care grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine human connection.

Elizabeth has experience working with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, and life transitions. Her clinical training includes providing therapy in both outpatient community counseling and inpatient residential treatment settings. These experiences have strengthened her ability to support individuals navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges with empathy and respect.

Elizabeth's therapeutic approach is rooted in existential, trauma-informed, and multicultural frameworks. She believes that meaningful change begins within a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. She approaches each individual with curiosity, cultural humility, and compassion, recognizing that every person's story is unique. By tailoring therapy to each client's needs and values, Elizabeth helps foster greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

Elizabeth is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions, deepen their understanding of themselves, and develop meaningful tools for navigating life's challenges. She values collaboration and believes that therapy is most effective when built upon trust, authenticity, and a shared commitment to growth.
